STEERCOM authorizes you to view the website information without any restriction. The download of material such as documents is provided for your personal, noncommercial use only. Any website content provided by STEERCOM is intellectual property of STEERCOM and protected by copyright under German and foreign laws.

Unauthorized use of any information or material may violate copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not sell or modify the material or reproduce, display, distribute or otherwise use the material as a whole or in extracts in any way for any public or commercial purpose without our explicit authorization. The use of the material on any other website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. Unauthorized use and violation against the copyright law will be subject to private law. Any attempt will be punished.

2. Conclusion of Contract

To conclude a contract the user can choose between placing an order or testing the software for a period of 30 days. Please note, that VCT is only available for corporate clients.

Order Process
1. Please register by providing all necessary inquiry specifications including information about your company and contact person.

2. Click the SUBMIT button and receive an inquiry confirmation email from sales@steercom.com

3a. STANDARD license: Receive an individual quotation.
3b. CUSTOMIZED license: Get contacted by our sales team in order to detail and quote your customization.

4. After your invoice has been settled, receive an email from noreply@steercom.com. This email contains your license key and a link to download the current VCT version. In case you do not receive an email, please check your spam mail folder and add STEERCOM to your list of trustable addresses.

Download Process
1. Register by providing your name, company name, email address and phone number.

2. Click the SUBMIT button

3. Receive an email from noreply@steercom.com. This email contains a link to download the VCT Test version. In case you do not receive an email within the next hour, please check your spam mail folder and add STEERCOM to your list of trustable addresses.

If you install the software offered by STEERCOM, the contract between STEERCOM and the user shall be concluded under the terms and conditions of STEERCOM by accepting these conditions. The terms and conditions will be shown up before installing the software. The user can accept these conditions by a click. Otherwise no contract will be concluded.

The user has to make sure, that his reachability via Email is guaranteed so that Emails from STEERCOM can reach him. He should therefore check the security settings, for example of the spam-filter and possible junk mail-accounts.

3. Payment

The payment methods are limited to advance payment (bank transfer, check). The customer can only exercise a right of retention when his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.

4. Right of Revocation

The customer can withdraw from the contract within two weeks in written form (e.g. letter, fax, email) without indicating any reason or by sending the merchandise back, unless the customer acted entrepreneurial within the scope of a commercial or freelance occupational activity.

The revocation deadline starts at the earliest at the day after receiving this instruction in written form, but not before the receipt of goods by the recipient (not before the receipt of the first partial delivery regarding recurring delivery of similar goods) and also not before we supply information according to § 312c paragraph 2 BGB [German Civil Code] in connection with § 1 paragraph 1, 2 and 4 BGB-InfoV as well as information according to § 312e paragraph 1 phrase 1 BGB in connection with § 3 BGB-InfoV. It is sufficient to send the revocation or the merchandise on time in order to keep the deadline.

Revocation Consequences:
a. In case of an effective revocation, the received services on both sides have to be returned and compensation for use if applicable (e.g. benefits from utilization of services, interests) has to be paid. If the customer can return the merchandise only partially or in deteriorated condition, he has to pay compensation to STEERCOM for the loss in value if need be. This does not apply if the deterioration of the product can be solely traced back to its inspection – as it might have been possible in the retail store. The customer can evade the liability for damages of valuables by means of not utilizing the merchandize as an owner and by refraining from things that might decrease its value.
b. Items that are transportable by packet are to be sent back at our risk. The customer has to bear the costs for the return of items himself, as far as the items are transportable by mail and the price of the returned items does not exceed 40,00 Euros and additionally in cases of the absence of consideration from the customer or a contractually agreed upon payment when the item’s price exceeds 40,00 Euros. Otherwise the return shipment is free of charge for the customer. Items that are not transportable by packet are picked up at the customer’s address.

Termination and exclusion of the revocation rights:
a. The revocation right terminates for another service, in case that STEERCOM has started the provision of services with the customer’s explicit approval before the end of the revocation deadline or in case that the customer arranged for this himself.
b. There is no revocation right for the customer in the following cases:
– if the merchandise consists of audio or video records or software, provided that the delivered data medium has been unsealed by the customer.
– In case of the delivery of merchandize that has been manufactured according to the customer’s specifications or has been clearly tailored to the customer’s personal requirements.

5. Referrals and Links

STEERCOM is not responsible for any content linked or referred to from his pages, unless he has full knowledge of illegal contents and would be able to prevent the visitors of his site from viewing those pages. If any damage occurs by the use of information presented there, only the author of the respective pages might be liable.

6. Copyright/ Rights of Use

The copyright for any STEERCOM website content including downloads, brochures, product demos and the programming of this website created by STEERCOM is reserved. STEERCOM intended not to use any copyrighted material for the publication or, if not possible, to indicate the copyright of the respective object.

All copyright and other industrial property rights shall be held exclusively by STEERCOM unless expressly transferred to the User by reason of the rights of use assigned.

7. Limitation of Liability

STEERCOM reserves the right not to be responsible for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of any information and material provided. Parts of the website or the complete publication including all offers and information or material might be extended, changed or partly or completely deleted by STEERCOM without separate announcement.

The utilization of the information that is provided on these sites always takes place at the user’s own risk. The information is assembled with utmost care and is subject to regular updates. Nevertheless this data serves as general information.

8. Changes of Terms of Use

We reserve the right to amend or update the Terms of Use from time to time without notice. Please check the terms of Use periodically to inform yourself of any changes. All updates will be published at this website.

In the event there is a major change to the STEERCOM Terms of Use, a prominent notice will be posted on our website prior to its implementation.

Amendments and additions to this Agreement shall be made in writing. This shall also apply to waiver of the contractually stipulated written form.

9. General Provisions

The stated prices are retail prices excluding the legal sales tax not including costs of delivery if applicable.

The contract data consisting of the wording of the contract and the general terms and conditions are saved by STEERCOM. The user can request the saved data after the conclusion of the contract from STEERCOM via eMail: info@steercom.de The user can furthermore print or save the contract data within the context of the order transaction via the browser’s menu navigation or via keyboard combinations (Strg p, Strg s).

The place of jurisdiction shall insofar as permissible be Hamburg for any disputes arising from this contractual relationship.

The contractual relationship shall be governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany excluding the UN convention on contracts for the international sale of goods.

Should any individual provision or any part of any provision be or become void, illegal or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions hereof shall in no way be affected. The parties shall endeavour to replace the void, illegal or unenforceable provision by a provision that comes as close as possible to the intended purpose of the ineffective provision.

The Terms of Use were originally prepared in the English language. Although STEERCOM may provide one or more translations for your convenience, the English version will control in the case of any conflict or discrepancy. Contents in other languages on this webpage are non binding translations.

General terms and conditions for closed workshops

Payment terms:
Payable without deduction after receipt of invoice. In case of cancellation and rescheduling of workshop days, less than 4 weeks before agreed dates, cancellation fees of 80% will apply. In case of reduction of the number of participants, less than 1 week before the agreed date, we charge the full price per participant.

Temporary attendance of a participant in the workshop does not qualify the customer for a cost- or fee reduction. In the case of participation by more than the agreed number of participants, the invoice is going to be increased by the non-discounted price for an additional seat. If a trainer travels by car or by train using a Bahncard 100, steercom charges the distance with 0.60 € per km.

Changes:
If a registered participant is not able to participate in the workshop, then a replacement participant may be registered in her or his place.
steercom GmbH reserves the right in case of illness of both trainers to cancel or postpone the workshop. This applies also in case of force majeure and of other unforeseen circumstances.
If only one trainer is unable due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances to participate, the workshop will still take place. The price per day will then be 75% of the agreed fee.
If a workshop cannot take place, the customer will be notified via the fastest means. A cancellation by steercom GmbH can be made only in writing. In case of any such cancellation, all costs/fees that have already been paid will be refunded.

Copyright:
All program documents contain proprietary information and are protected by copyright. All rights are reserved. No part of any document may be reproduced, processed, copied, distributed, or used in any other way without the express permission of steercom GmbH.

Reservations:
Agreed dates for which neither verbal nor written confirmation has been received will be held open by steercom GmbH for a maximum of one week. Reservations must be made in writing.
